Measures we have taken to protect staff, guests & suppliers

Before our staff return to work, we first liaise with them to ensure they are happy and safe to do so. All staff then receive special training in how to follow the new guidelines, and in the new methods of keeping contact with guests to a minimum, ensuring that the hotel remains a safe environment in which to work, visit & stay.

There are wider gaps between tables to comply with regulations and social distancing. Our hygiene practices have been enhanced and hand sanitisation stations are available throughout the premises. PPE is used where appropriate and our room-service is operating as non-contact. We encourage all guests to use common sense and take responsibility for their own hygiene for the benefit and safety of themselves and others.

Dining capacity has been reduced and reservations are being spaced out to accommodate diners responsibly. Some furniture has been removed and as well as access to the front of the bar. Guests are encouraged to arrive for their original seating time, and to time their visits in accordance to the maximum seating duration. For those people arriving early, there will be no official waiting area.

We also have new protocols for our suppliers and contractors to follow, prioritising social distancing and minimal contact during deliveries.
